BioI am Kim, nice to meeat you.
I live a very boring existence. I work M-F doing accounting type work in a town about 10 miles from home and then I come home and relax around the house with my husband. We recently moved and we are very busy trying to get our new home in order. We are living in a very old home with very old everything (plumbing, electric, ect) and we are busy getting it into livable shape.
I am lucky enough to have married my best friend Stan. He's been my husband now for almost 6 years but we'd been together for 11 years before we were married. He's recently lost a lot of weight and he's very proud of himself, as he should be. He looks fantastic and the weight loss cannot help but help his various health problems. He has rheumatoid arthritis and other health issues but he is doing pretty well now that he has a team of doctors who are wonderful. Due to his health issues he is limited to what he can & cannot do physically. He does not work a regular job but does most of the housework and cares for the pets.
We live here with our daughter who is going to be 17 this summer. She's a junior in High School and is doing very well. She's generally a very good girl but as all teenagers she can be selfish sometimes, and she can be thoughtless sometimes; but for the most part she's a wonderful and beautiful young lady. I love her very much. She has an afterschool job and is looking forward to going to college in a little over a year.
I also share my home and life with some animal family. We have 11 ferrets, one dog and some fishes. I love them all very much. Our dog is slowly acclimating to his new home; he is getting used to being walked on a leash rather than going out into the yard by himself. The ferrets have a nice area in our kitchen to live & play; they're enjoying the big windows and sun in there. The fish's tank is in our living room and they are also enjoying the morning sun.
Well what more can I say about myself? I'm a middleaged married woman with a sick sense of humor and a wide antisocial streak. I love odd movies, I love watching Intervention on A&E, I love to read true crime novels as well as decent horror books and Janet Evanovich is a guilty pleasure as well. I like to feed birds, decorate my house with bright colors and a fun kitchy style, cook Italian food, eat sushi, go shopping (even just to look I find enjoying), listen to NPR, daydream, and clean.
